And with good theatre you come out of it somewhat transformed and affected by the performance and that was certainly the case last night at The Court Theater, where it opened up. I floated home. I was so moved by this man’s performance. It’s well worth your time… We see actors on the It’s the story of Tim Ryan’s experiences when he hires himself out as a jack-of- all-trades. After placing an ad as a handyman to earn money during the actors’ strike, Ryan is inundated by a cast of needy characters worthy of a Hollywood film plot, indeed! And you see where an actor derives their inspiration, their experiences from and you can find out about the human side of an actor. As well as all the great emotions they bring to you and to the stage, and to their performance. I highly recommend it…Tim plays all the roles and you are mesmerized by this marvelous performance…you come out electrified and thoroughly energized by what this man shares with us from his life. I highly recommend it!” |
